Booth Space:  Hope International Church (“H.I.”) shall provide a 10’ x 10’ area for booth per vending area.  Booth location shall be determined at the sole discretion of H.I. and will be facilitated on a first-come, first-served basis. H.I. reserves the right to approve or reject any application at its sole discretion. Businesses shall be solely responsible for its own canopy tent for its designated space and for any tables, chairs, or other supplies or equipment necessary for booth operation, including refrigeration and water source, unless previously discussed otherwise. Tables are available to rent for $20.00 each on a first-come, first-served basis. Assistance with merchandise unload and reload is also available for $10.00 during pre-registration ONLY. H.I. shall not be responsible for the operation of the booth or any equipment or supplies for the booth.

Permits, Taxes & Licenses: Each food vendor must possesses or will obtain all health and food service certifications prior to commencement of the special event.

 All open air food sales shall receive inspection by the appropriate regulatory agencies, including but not limited to, the department of agriculture, department of professional regulation, division of hotels and restaurants, county health department, or city code compliance officer. Evidence of such inspection shall be immediately made available for city inspection upon request; otherwise, the open-air food sale vendors booth shall be immediately terminated by issuance of an order of the city manager.

Applications: Applications shall be signed, dated and returned to H.I. no later than close of business on the Wednesday prior to each quarterly event. (Feb 20th, May 22nd, Aug 21st, and Dec 11th)

 

Fees: Vendors shall pay a non-refundable $25.00 for one (1) 10’ x 10’ booth. Additional 10’ x 10’ booths shall be $25.00. Food Truck Vendors shall pay a non-refundable fee of $30. Payments must be made atGoHopeChurch.com. Click the DONATE button. Follow the instructions and add your Name and LIGHT OF HOPE to the “What is this for?” section. Beverages/Alcohol:  The sale and consumption of alcohol shall be strictly prohibited on the premises.

 

Set-up Time:  Set-up on the premises begins at 7am. All booth spaces must be set up and in operating order by 8:45am. Breakdown starts at 1pm and must be completed by 2:30pm.

 

Cancellation or Rescheduling of Event: H.I. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel or reschedule the quarterly event.

 

Indemnification:  Business agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend H.I., from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, and expenses including, but not limited to, attorney’s fees, arising out of or resulting from the operation of  booth space at the special event, including damage to persons or property, provided that same is caused in whole or part by the error, omission, negligent act, failure to act, malfeasance, misfeasance, conduct, or misconduct of Vendor, its agents, servants, officers, officials, employees, or subcontractors.
